- Catch-all signals — domains that accept every address, so a wrong one won’t bounce right away.

Why no mailbox probing?
Some checkers “knock” on the recipient’s mail server for every address. That is slow, often blocked, and can hurt the reputation of the server doing it. This free checker never contacts the mailbox — it uses public DNS and what we already know.
